Daily Digest | I want to play a game

Hey there. It’s Brady again.

There is no shortage of video games for us. Play on your personal computer, then on your phone. But good, new games? Those are hard to come by.

That has been especially true for gamers in China during the past three months, when regulators suspended the video game approval process. Resuming the evaluation means gamers will soon see more options for their next entertaining challenge. Just as importantly, investors expect a bounceback for the video game sector.

But wait: does that mean things will go back to how they were? Your guess is as good as mine. Licensing requirements are tougher than before, and in this climate, you never know when suspensions might happen again and new rules may be put into place.
